Dental Staff

Dr. Hess is a graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency in Portland, Oregon before returning to Sheboygan to start his own practice.

Dr. Hess is a member of many dental organizations including:

• Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA)
• American Dental Association (ADA)
• Academy of General Dentists (AGD)
• Sheboygan County Dental Society (SCDS)

Dr. Hess likes to take an individualized approach to comprehensive dental care. He is a believer in constructing a dental treatment plan made with a patient's collaboration which takes into account their values, health, immediate concerns, and cosmetic aspirations. He hopes to achieve a 'dental partnership' with his patients with the goal of total health optimization. 

Dr. Hess finds all facets of dentistry to be rewarding. He is particularly passionate about conservative smile enhancements.

Dr. Hess spends his free time golfing, biking, skiing, reading, and listening to podcasts. He gets the most pleasure out of watching his daughter at swim and dive competitions.  

Sara is a graduate of UW-Madison. Before joining our team, she worked for oral surgery practices in Madison and Milwaukee. Sara joined our dental team when the practice first opened in September of 2000. Her interests include travel, triathlons, waterskiing, and downhill skiing. Sara is proud to have completed an Ironman Triathlon and qualified for the Boston Marathon. Sara enjoys watching her daughter's sporting events and spending time with her family and friends. 

Erin is a graduate from Sheboygan South High School and received her dental assistant certificate from Lakeshore Technical College in 2015. She joined the Hess Dental Care team in 2017 and was our lead assistant for four years. Erin decided to further her education by earing a degree from MATC in dental hygiene. Erin brings lots of energy and enthusiasm to our practice. While not at the dental office, you can find her working out, doing home remodeling, baking, and creating Pinterest projects. 

Shina is Sheboygan North High School graduate who attended Lakeshore Technical College to earn her dental assisting degree in 2021. She has enjoyed working in the dental field and would like to eventually apply to dental school after finishing her undergraduate degree at UW-Green Bay. Shina enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
